Ahhh. Weddings. I love a good wedding. Especially the kind where the bride can really wear white because of the values she has maintained and the groom can barely stand still due to his excitement over the vision walking towards him.

Anyhow, A Wedding Invitation, by Alice J. Wisler isn’t quite like that. Main character, Samantha Bravencourt finds herself at a wedding. She thought the wedding was for a friend she had served with at a teaching camp in the Philippines.
But it wasn’t. It was a girl . . . with the same name . . . but it wasn’t her friend.
She encounters a certain Carson Brylie, the man who broke her heart that had so easily entwined itself to his while teaching overseas. The two must somehow mend bridges in order to help , Lien, a young Amerasian girl.
