Happy Birthday to My Blog--Granola Giveaway #1

When you were growing up, on your birthday were you ever greeted with the song that goes a little bit like this,

My name is Zoom
and I live on the moon
But I came to earth
Just to sing you this tune
It's your birthday today!

Well, no one sang this song to the blog this morning . . . though I thought about it. (I won't mention that the Hottie Hubby actually sang Happy Birthday to me my blog.)

Let me introduce my first giveaway.

I thought it would be fitting to give away something from me.

I'd use persimmons, because they're local and in season. And ymmy--like pumpkins that are already spiced.

Tracey said...

I think I'm already a fan, but I'll do that right away.

Tracey said...

I normally have a raw protein shake for breakfast, but my kids eat grains.

Tracey said...

Hotty Hubbie should write about the most amazing thing he thinks you've ever made, and his roll in it. And why he thinks that's great for your kids.

Tracey said...

I don't have a public blog, just the one for my menu plan subscribers. But if I win, it should be relatively easy to get me the prize! :-) I did used to make granola for my kids--have been getting it premade more recently.

And I LOVE this recipe. I go through a decent amount of it. http://www.granolamom4god.com/2009/06/homemade-mayonnaise.html
