My thoughts?
This is a sweet book. The pictures sparked a lot of conversation and questions between myself and my littles. The text provides an excellent example to help a child understand how they can talk to God and what things that they can pray for. Prayers range from help me to make the right and wise decision, to forgive me, to showing gratitude, to what should I be when I grow up?
Is it my all time favorite children’s book in the whole world? No. Am I glad that we now own it? Yes. Would I purchase it? I would easily give it as a gift to a young child for a holiday or if they were expressing interest in knowing more about God.
